Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all quotations, sales, supply contracts and service engagements between Rentotyp Services Limited ("Rentotyp", "we", "us") and any customer or counterparty ("Customer", "you"). By placing an order, accepting a quotation or engaging our services you confirm acceptance of these Terms.

All quotations are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise stated. Quoted prices are exclusive of VAT, transport and any applicable duties unless explicitly included. Orders are confirmed only upon written acceptance by Rentotyp and (where required) receipt of the agreed deposit.

Pricing is denominated in Kenya Shillings (KES) unless otherwise agreed. Standard payment terms are 50% deposit on order and 50% on delivery or commissioning. Approved corporate customers may apply for credit terms subject to credit assessment. Late payment attracts interest at 2% per month.

Lead times are estimates given in good faith and are not binding. Risk of loss passes to the Customer on delivery to the named site or courier. Rentotyp is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, customs, manufacturer back-orders or third-party logistics providers.

All equipment and spare parts supplied by Rentotyp carry the manufacturer's standard warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, typically twelve (12) months from date of commissioning. Warranty claims must be lodged in writing with photographic evidence within seven (7) days of fault discovery.

Where installation, commissioning or maintenance services are provided, the Customer shall provide safe site access, utilities and qualified operating personnel. Rentotyp engineers operate under HSE protocols and reserve the right to suspend work where safety conditions are inadequate.

Returns are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. Custom-sourced, special-order and consumable items are non-returnable except where defective.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentotyp's total liability under any single order is limited to the invoice value of that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses including production downtime, loss of profit or loss of contracts.

All technical drawings, specifications, training material and documentation supplied by Rentotyp remain our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or shared with third parties without written consent.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute shall be referred first to good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved within thirty (30) days, to arbitration in Nairobi under the Arbitration Act.
