Company Overview

A specialist industrial supplier — headquartered in Nairobi

Rentotyp Services Limited is headquartered at Kingfisher Plaza, Dar es Salaam Road — adjacent to ABC Bank in Nairobi's Industrial Area, Kenya's commercial and manufacturing heartland. Founded in 2024 by mechanical engineer Enock Nyabuti, Rentotyp was established to address a critical gap in East Africa's food processing sector: the absence of a reliable, technically competent partner for sourcing and supplying precision-grade spare parts for dairy and UHT processing equipment.

We serve clients across Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. In a short time, Rentotyp has built a strong regional reputation by combining engineering expertise with fast, dependable delivery and hands-on after-sales support. Today, we are the preferred spare parts partner for some of East Africa's most recognised dairy and beverage processing brands.

Our Mission

To supply food and beverage processors across East Africa with precision-grade spare parts and technical engineering support that minimise production downtime, maximise operational efficiency, and keep processing lines running at peak performance.

Our Vision

To become East Africa's foremost manufacturer and supplier of processing-line components — driving industrial self-sufficiency and reducing import dependence across the continent.

Our Story

Born from the cost of avoidable downtime

"Production lines were grinding to a halt — not due to major failures, but simply because the right spare part was not available locally."

— Enock Nyabuti, Founder & Managing Director

Rentotyp was born out of a recurring and costly problem Enock Nyabuti witnessed throughout his career as a mechanical engineer in dairy and beverage processing plants across East Africa. Lead times of weeks or months for imported components, combined with the absence of technically capable local suppliers, meant that processors were losing millions in downtime for entirely preventable reasons.

Enock founded Rentotyp in 2024 with a clear mandate: build the supply partner he always wished existed. One that stocks the right parts, delivers fast, provides accurate technical guidance, and stands behind every sale with genuine after-sales service.

Within its first year, Rentotyp has grown to serve over six major clients across three countries, established strategic procurement partnerships with leading manufacturers in China and India, and built a team of qualified service engineers and technical sales professionals dedicated to one purpose: keeping East Africa's food processing industry in motion.

Future Outlook

From specialist supplier to vertically integrated industrial solutions business.

Our most ambitious initiative — planned for the next three to five years — is the establishment of a local manufacturing facility for consumable spare parts and processing line components. This will reduce East Africa's dependency on imported industrial components, shorten supply lead times dramatically, and create skilled engineering employment in Kenya.

  1. 2025

Expand product range and deepen stockholding of fast-moving UHT and pneumatic components.

  2. 2025–2026

Open regional sales offices in Tanzania and Uganda to strengthen in-country support.

  3. 2026

Pursue ISO 9001 Quality Management certification for institutional clients.

  4. 2026–2027

Launch strategic distribution partnerships with major food processing equipment suppliers.

  5. 2027–2028

Commission local manufacturing facility for consumables and high-frequency wear parts.
