Refund & Returns Policy

We stand behind every product we supply. Here is exactly how returns and refunds work at Rentotyp Services Limited.

Eligible for return
  • Item is defective on arrival or fails within the manufacturer warranty period
  • Wrong item supplied against the confirmed purchase order
  • Item damaged during transit (reported within 48 hours of delivery)
  • Manufacturing defect confirmed by our engineering team
Not eligible for return
  • Custom-sourced or special-order parts confirmed by the customer
  • Consumables (gaskets, seals, lubricants, cleaning chemicals) once opened or installed
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation or unauthorised modification
  • Returns requested more than 14 days after delivery

Return window

You may request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery for eligible items. Defective items remain covered by the manufacturer warranty (typically 12 months from commissioning).

How to request a return

Email rentotypeserviceslimited@gmail.com or WhatsApp +254 702 840 924 with: your invoice number, product code, reason for return and clear photographs of the item and any visible defect. We will respond within 1 business day with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).

Condition of returned goods

Items must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all accessories, documentation and labels. Items that have been installed, modified, partially used or damaged after delivery cannot be accepted.

Inspection & refund

Once received, our engineering team inspects the returned item within 5 business days. On approval, refunds are issued via the original payment method (M-Pesa, bank transfer or credit note) within 10 business days. Refunds are made net of any applicable restocking fee (up to 15%) where the return is not the result of a fault.

Shipping & handling

Where the return is a result of our error (wrong item, defective on arrival), we cover the return shipping costs. Otherwise, return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We strongly recommend using a tracked courier.

Warranty replacements

Items confirmed defective within the manufacturer warranty period are replaced or repaired at no cost to the customer, subject to manufacturer terms and inspection by our engineering team.
